SPAN is seeking nominations of youth and adults to fill positions on its Leadership Council. Our coalition depends on our partners and supporters, so we invite you to join us!
The SPAN Leadership Council provides stewardship and guidance for SPAN’s regional efforts to create awareness of how to prevent suicide. The Council is a diverse group of adults and youth who provide their unique perspectives on mental health and suicide prevention.
Positions involve a 3-year term with a time commitment of about 4 hours per month, including monthly meetings. Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by fellow community members and organizations
SPAN is a collaboration between the five Community Services Boards in Northern Virginia, nonprofit partners, community groups, and dedicated local community members.
